Spanish Ministry is lead by Angel and Maria Romero

Since its beginning the ministry of SFWC has had the vision of reaching as many people as possible with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Years ago, we would not have given much thought to having service in a language not in English unless we are in a foreign country.  The dynamics in our land have changed; a great influx of non English speaking people of our nation is a reality we cannot ignore.

Over the last few years we have seen in our local assembly many Spanish speaking attend our services to the point where we began to have tranlators from English to Spanish as well as translate some of the worship songs, singing in English and Spanish.  In an effort to better serve not only our Spanish speaking members but provide a means to reach out to the Hispanic community, we felt the necessity to have services totally in Spanish. Not a foreign land, no right here in Sarasota we have a great time praising, praying, singing, worshiping and enjoying the Word of the Lord completely in Spanish.

This is not a separate church, but an integral part of the body of believers that call SFWC their place of worship.  You are cordially invited to come and praise the Lord with us on select Sundays at 6 pm (See Calendar of Events).  If you know someone that doesn't speak or understand English that well, being Spanish their native language, pass the word; there is a place where they can come and feel as if they are back in their native country lifing up the wonderful, powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord.  Everyone is welcome.
